How do you charge for a portrait session?
For the actual session itself, there is only one fee, the session fee. This is a constant amount and does not change. Currently our prices for a portrait session are:
- $100 for the first hour
- $50 each additional hour
The only other fee is the fee for the pictures your order, and that is totally dependant upon you. Please view our Portrait Packages Page for more information on the packages and picture options available.
So, you'll take our portraits anywhere we want, right?
That is correct. We have all of the lights and gadgets and gizmos of a regular studio, however, everything is portable. This means that if you want us to do your portraits in the middle of an island in the middle of the Atlantic, we could do it. Some of our more popular requests for locations include:
- Your Home
- A local park
- The Streets of Pittsburgh
- Your Church
- ANYWHERE
We believe that when we photograph our clients in their element, not some photo studio somewhere, that we capture that person's true personality. Also, our clients tend to be alot more comfortable when we photograph in their element. I mean, come on, Professional Photographs in front of YOUR Christmas Tree this year, what could be better?
How can I reserve a session?
You have two options, easiest, simply fill out our contact form. Let us know the date and time you wish to have your session. Include any other information we would find helpful and hit 'send'! You also have the option of calling us. Just call 814-279-8717.
How long does it take to get the finished pictures back?
Depending on the number of photos and the post processing your request, it could be as short as 5 business days. More and more, our clients are requesting the use of Photoshop to add effects to our pictures. This can add a few days on to the time frame. Worst case scenario, is about 10 business days, not bad at all.
How do we select the photos we want for printing?
Your photographer, the same one who took your pictures, will meet with you to go over all of your proofs and to help you select the ones you would like for print. This usually happens 1-2 days after your photo shoot. However, it can be whenever you like it to be.
